Desktop Icons gone help please. I receive an error when i try and start it up. Windows 10 Start Menu Not Showing All Programs

attrib C:\*.* /d /s -h -r -s press Enter key. It was not.I have back-ups of my PC (windows backup) but I'm not sure if there is a way to restore just the start menu. I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to registry problems. I found a fix for this, which was to restart the Network List Service but the problem keeps coming back after each restart.
