I have a cd/dvd writer. If differnt media, different IDE ribbons, different jumper settings, clean O/S install, and two different PC's doesn't troubleshoot it, what can I do? Never has there been any conflict with the hardware or the software. I'm not sure if that was always the case or if I'm just fishing at this point.
If I use Explorer to view the drive while there is a blank DVD inserted, the details tell me the disc capacity is 0 bytes with 0 bytes free space.
