Computing.Net cannot verify the validity of the statements made on this site. If not , check the charger with a VOLTMETER... I do not have another motherboard to test the processor, and visa-versa. If you can, try your CPU in another PC.
Try removing the board from the computer itself if you have not done so already maybe something is grounding it out. the PS kicks on as soon as I plug in the PC (the fan spins), my CPU fan spins, and the screen receives a signal... Then move jumper back to 'normal' position and reboot. I took it back to Comp USA and they gave me a new one.
If it fails take the chip out and set itaside, then put the other chip in and try booting it in both slots. I put in new everything and when the time to turn it on came, I had a black screen much like you're describing but my PSU didn't turn on automatically like Any help would be appreciated.
