My cd-rom driver is not working? You might have a scratched up dirty disk and it is unreadable by your player. My driver now works again! Remove the CD-ROM from adapter and connect the adapter to DVD burner. it gets detected during booting but does not shows up when system boots completely. I discovered a lot of left over garbage from the upgrade to Windows 10, so I did a clean install on a freshly formatted C: partition to make sure nothing survived.
Step one: Is the drive not showing up in Windows Explorer? I ordered an adapter for it, so I could use that DVD. This review is gonna be pretty bad. Before using the patch, be sure to back up the Registry.
