Well when I played LOTR last night and selected 2.1 stereo sound in the DVD audio setup. I did swap the audio cables out with the trio I was using before, but to no avail. These rarely make any gratifying difference because they are not optimized for the material, listening area, or a particular set of ears. When it goes through the setero it's the same story. Now that we've got an idea how the dialogue and the action end up so far apart in volume let's look at ways we can remedy the problem.
