Dvd-rw Icons Have Changed In "my Computer"


Monday, January 11, 2010 3:04 PM 0 Sign in to vote Hello, I recently put in an old hard drive witch had a virus on it, but I formatted it with All rights reserved. It happens when we accidentally change the drive icons using some tweaking software. Yes, delete the file! navigate here

I have since recovered it twice (via registry fix mentioned and via system restore) and its disappeared twice more. I put it in to have 2 hard drives in my computer. My "Local Disk(C:)"s name has been changed to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and the icon has changed too. Click the Start button, and then in the search box, type regedit. i have plug in my external drive to my laptop.

  1. Looking at the regedit, and I don't see the upper or lower that you are talking about.
  2. but i have unhide them via folder and search options.
