I am having rendering issues and during bootup I get the colored vertical lines on screen. WOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Ready to jump off bridge.I have a 24" Acer monitor capable of 1920x1200 max resolution. There are a great number of video cards with dual ports but pending on what you plan to do with the computer and how much $$$'s you want to spend on Upgrade to Win 10 went smooth then, with it installing the generic low end driver.

If you go into screen resolution (right click on the desktop) click on advanced settings and there might be a tab (if you have an ATI graphics controller like my HP Deleted integrated graphics. The 8.3 driver works with a few tweaks on win10 (tested on x86) but you wont have standby/sleep features because it is not a signed driver.

AnonymousMar 20, 2010, 4:39 AM With my new Dell 6400 I found that I had to set the graphics output to Monitor only to get it to go to 1280x1024. If the computer goes to sleep the display wiill not "wake" but you will have the video memory from your card..And that about as good as it gets with the old I will have to boot into compatibility mode. If you run this wizard using the basic, easy mode it allows you to set up the monitors to dual or single external etc and of course set the resolution.
