Use the laptop display for auxiliary things, such as app palettes, email, a web browser, etc. Even though they are usually close, two of the same exact monitor will show colors that are slightly different. You might have to install it manually, or manually select it in the OS's display settings, depending on how the calibration software works. It's happened to me, too.

My pics look really good straight from the camera, it seems really weird to have such quality from my old camera to be honest. I was curious if there's some kind of software adjustments I can make to make sure it isn't my computer that's the problem. If you must have precisely matched color images, then you need to use "professional" level monitors which can be directly programmed by high-end calibrators. Monitor Test Scale My question is what is the best way to get these monitor's color to match?

This is mainly used by people who need the monitor to match printed items (art, photos, magazines, etc). How do I improve "beige" text? When you are selecting colors etc, to be included in a website design, it totally freaks me out. There is also a Color Management option in Windows which may let you do this but I have never messed with it.
I did some windows calibration that seems to help, and i'll fiddle with the settings on my second monitor to try and match the first one. If you want a reliable way of matching colour across multiple monitors, a hardware calibrator is the only way to go.
