Dual Core CPU Question
If you want to game, the iMac is the way to go (that still feels weird to type). when it matters coded for it or not a dual core cpu wont help.. it will just treat it the same as a single core one.. Look at this list of benchmarks and compare it to a core 2 duo of the same speed. Yep, the c2d is many times faster at the same speed. The Lisa was essentially like that too, unless you count the keyboard, and so was the original Mac.

Games are not coded to use two and a single core CPU will game just as well.
