Use a Virtual machine…much easier and convienient and better on your system. I have a Dell desktop which has XP Home preloaded (recovery discs created for the dell). Option 2 - Using DISKPART Boot the machine from the Windows 7 DVD. It's distressing to learn that "we can't remove XP or 7 without pain."I have the same setup (XP on one hard drive, Windows 7 RC on another). Change from Raid/Autodetect/AHCI 4. Why is this?
