Jan 30, 2008 #5 ComputerAddict TS Rookie I have this problem as well, Tested on my machine with a CDRW drive, two DVD-RW/CD-RW drives, across two brands (Pioneer and Plextor). Any suggestions? I have tried 8 different disks, all readable by other machines (movies, games, backups, sotware, etc.) but my machine refuses to read them, either in XP or 7.
